Adjustable Height Desks
For commercial office spaces, standing desks and all things ergonomic are not new concepts, but they have been increasing in popularity over the last year or so. Our favorite choice for an adjustable height desk comes from The Human Solution. They’re customizable, and have an option for a memory keypad. This keypad can be programmed with four positions so you can easily change your position with the push of a button.
Not a fan of the standard acoustical ceiling tile look? Exposed ceilings are becoming increasingly popular for commercial applications. This style can give your office space some character and bring an outdated look into a more modern era. Of course, this can’t be done in every office, as it is dependent on the structure and style of the building. We’ve remodeled a few commercial office spaces using this style, and the end result is unique and attractive! Open ceiling plans can often also incorporate skylights, which brings in some natural light and adds aesthetic appeal to the space.
Basic 2×2 or 2×4 fluorescent light fixtures with a clear acrylic lens are quickly becoming an outdated form of lighting. For a less harsh brightness and an updated modern look, our clients are turning to LED lay-in fixtures that combine aesthetics and performance. We’ve installed these in quite a few commercial office spaces and can see why they are becoming so popular.
