Trevose was formerly part of Feasterville-Trevose, but it was split during the 2010 census. As of 2010, Trevose had a population of around 3,500. This town is easy to get to – both U.S. Route 1 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike through the town. It is actually named after the home of settler Joseph Growden, who named it after his home in England. In Cornish, Trenfos means “farm.”
