Even though the community has been in existence for a few centuries now, Fairless Hills only got its name a little over 60 years ago. In the 1950’s, the town was known for its prefabricated homes. Today, around 8,500 residents call Fairless Hills home. It has a land area of 1.92 square miles. Fairless Hills is located about 30 miles from Philadelphia, just west of the Delaware River. The Sotcher Farmhouse, also known as “Three Arches,” was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. The original house was built around 1760.
