Little Jerusalem AME Church, also known as Bensalem, was built in 1830 and is one of the oldest African American churches. Or visit St. Elizabeth’s Convent, a historic Roman Catholic convent that was built in 1892. The Growden Mansion is also on the national Register of Historic Places. It belonged to Joseph Growden and was built in 1683.
