Bucks County Curling Club

Warminster, PA

The renovation at Bucks County Curling Club was a unique and challenging project. The owners had a hard time finding a contractor who wasn't scared off by their plans, until they met with Souder Brothers.

This $1.1 million dollar renovation included a complete gut and remodel of the curling facility. Before construction the viewing area was open to the ice which left spectators exposed to the on ice temperatures at all times. A new deck was built to raise the new warm room floor level up by about 5' to give guests better view of the ice. Large custom glass pieces were installed to provide the best possible view of the curling sheets from the new warm room deck and stadium seating area. Bucks County Curling Club is one of the most state of the art curling facilities on the east coast and features new bathrooms, custom merchandise and trophy cases, a full kitchen, and a custom bar. The bar is one of the project highlights and was built with reclaimed wood from a barn at the owner's home.

"It was great a pleasure working with the Souder Brothers team, when challenges came up everyone participated in helping to find a solution. We appreciated you being open to our suggestions. While you don't often hear people praising their contractors, I have had nothing but good things to say about your company, your people, and the construction process when people ask me how it went. We are thoroughly enjoying our new warm room."
