Quaker Valley Foods

Philadelphia, PA

The Quaker Valley Foods project consisted of renovations to an existing office building, including a 798 square foot addition. Quaker Valley was looking for a general contractor who would be willing to choose their specialty contractors based on merit. Souder Brothers took a team approach to the project and worked with the both the architect and the owners to offer solutions and options whenever a challenge arose. Souder Brothers did everything possible to look at the project and find any challenges that could arise and work them out prior to starting construction. This helped keep the project on track for the budget and the schedule.

Expanded Lobby/Waiting Area

The new lobby at Quaker Valley Foods gives visitors a comfortable place to sit and wait. The reception area is also ideal for the employees; it features a glass vestibule for the receptionist and added security with the mag lock doors.

Quaker Valley Foods remained operational for the entirety of the renovation project. Souder Brothers was willing to work off hours when it was necessary, often at no extra charge to the owners. Features of the project include the installation of a new architectural cable railing system in the main lobby, installation of a new 2-stop LU/LA elevator, renovations to existing offices, and roof replacement.
